Cobalt SS impresses

We might not be totally overwhelmed with the Cobalt LS Sedan in the Autoblog Garage, but EdmundsInside Line loves the new SS coupe. Dan Kahn positively salivates over the thing calling it “the best Chevrolet compact to come along in decades.” And while that isn’t really saying much, he does back up the statement with real world driving reports that detail “explosive” performance. That sounds promising for the $23,060 test vehicle. We can’t wait for the Scion tC supercharged comparison.

USA Today rambles on about the Chevy Cobalt

After I take my first spin in the Chevy Cobalt that was just dropped off I read this, a full review of the sucker by James R. Healey in USA Today. My first day’s report will come to the Autoblog Garage tomorrow, but for now take in Healey’s long list of pluses and minuses in the new “economy” sedan from GM. Just from my first impressions I’m inclined to agree with most of what’s said here.
